Everybody knows Peter Brock for a different reason. To historic Corvette fans he’s the guy who penned the lines of the original Sting Ray racer and by extension, the '63 Corvette “split window”. To Cobra fans meanwhile, Peter’s the guy who took the brick-like Shelby Cobra roadster and turned it into the slippery Cobra Daytona Coupe – the first American car to grab the FIA’s GT World Championship. Datsun devotees love to remember the Peter Brock of Brock Racing Enterprises during the late ‘60s and early ‘70s; that fun-loving hipster who coolly called the shots as BRE’s 510 coupes decimated the Alfas and BMWs of the Trans-Am 2.5 series.

Join us for the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion!

Location: Laguna-Seca Raceway - Monterey, California

Laguna-Seca Raceway is the place to be this August during Monterey Car Week! Japanese cars are the marque and Peter Brock the Grand Marshal! On display will be the largest number of original BRE race cars ever gathered together at one time (no less than ten).

BRE will have a large exhibit tent and BRE car display on the south end of vendor row, also referred to as the Lakebed (if you are in the paddock you take Michelin tire pedestrian bridge over the track and walk south through the aisle of vendors and BRE will be at the far end on the right.

Wednesday and Thursday August 12-13th are the quieter days at the track and will be great times to hook up with BRE team owner/manager Peter Brock and BRE Championship driver John Morton. Check back here for specific autograph times we will schedule for Brock to be at BRE tent.

Friday August 14th

  • 9:00-11:00am: Peter Brock will be at the BRE Exhibit Tent
  • 11:30 Peter Brock departs the track on the Quail Run and will return at 3pm
  • 3:45-4:10pm Peter Brock and John Morton will take to the track for exhibition laps

Saturday August 15th

  • 9:00-11:00am: Peter Brock will be at the BRE Exhibit Tent
  • 11:00-11:30am – If you are a member of the track’s 1957 Club there will be a Peter Brock Meet & Greet at the Hospitality Pavilion
  • 12:00 – 1:10pm Peter Brock will be on the track’s Main Stage for various Ceremonies
  • 2:05 – 2:30pm - Peter Brock and John Morton will take to the track for exhibition laps
  • 3:15pm-3:45pm – Peter Brock and John Morton Autograph Session on the Main Stage
  • 4pm and after: Peter Brock will be at the BRE Exhibit Tent
