BRE Datsun Newsletter
At the end of 1965, after leaving Shelby American, Peter Brock founded Brock Racing Enterprises (BRE). What first started out as a design firm, quickly became the factory Datsun race team for the west half of the U.S. Starting in 1969 with the Datsun 2000 roadsters and winning four National Championships with the Datsun 240Zs and 510s against the expensive European imports that had owned the sport, the BRE team became heroes to many.
The BRE cult following continues today. BRE scratches the itch of its fan base with Open Houses, event appearances, memorabilia, etc. The BRE Datsun Newsletter shares the stories and photos of activities with BRE team owner and manager Peter Brock, Datsuns/Nissans, BRE team members and upcoming events.
Peter Brock Designs Newsletter
Peter Brock has an amazing automotive history even outside of the world of BRE Datsuns. In the Peter Brock Designs newsletters we share stories and activities that relate to Brock’s successes and activities outside of the Datsun world, such as:
• Corvette activities - Brock drew the sketch at GM Styling in 1959 that would become the ’63 Sting Ray.
• Shelby American related activities: From 1961-65, amongst other accomplishments, Brock ran Shelby’s driving school, designed the Daytona Cobra Coupe which won the FIA World GT Championship in 1965 and created the livery for the Shelby cars, including the Shelby GT350 Mustang.
• In recent years Brock designed a high quality, fully aerodynamic single-car trailer, the Aerovault. Brock is also a popular speaker and his activities and upcoming schedule are shared here.
